It doesn't matter who you are, everyone can do something to change the world. This ideas have been brought together to include adults and young people/children as well.
BE KIND TO OTHERS
Society often offers us example of egoistic or individualist people as someone we should look up to or as role models to follow if we want to become successful but truth is there is nothing more important that kindness. Small acts of kindess can get a long way. You just have to do them because you feel you want to, without exepcting anything in return. Some ideas? Helping a new girl or boy at school to fit it, doing chores at home when you parents are super busy, never making fun of other kids and, if you are an adult, offering to prepare food for a family with a very sick member, offering rides to the elderly in your community who don't have a car and the list goes on.

VOLUNTEER
People often think that to do volunteering experiences you must travel all around the world but that is not the case at all. Every city, and often even smaller places, have chances for local people to volunteer. You should choose an organization you trust and whose goals you feel close to your heart. If you are into saving the planet you could join a group cleaning beaches or the parks, if you love animals you could volunteer in a kennel and if you are into children you could an organization who supports kids living in disadvantaged situations. It also depends on how much time you have on your hands, but organizations generally appreciate any kind of help. You could even start your organization or run a group to support a cause you feel close to, but you have to remember that takes a lot of work, time and commitment.

USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO CHANGE THE WORLD
Social media can be great, if used in the right way. If you are a young person you probably spend a lot of time on social media, and many adults do that as well, but have you ever noticed the power of the posts you published? You don't have to have thosands of followers to publish something worth reading. You should post about social causes you feel close to your heart.

CLEAN UP AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This goes for people of all ages but it's particularly indicated for young people and even children, if supervised by an adult. We all know that place close to our home that would need a big clean up. We could wait for someone else to clean it or we could call some friends and do the work. You can also walk around the neighborhood to pick up litter and any type of trash (remember to use gloves and be careful before touching anything). Doing such acts will lead to have a better place for you and the people around you to live in.

MENTOR
We all are good at something, despite our age. And we all know that someone who is struggling at the thing we are champions at. You are a Math genius and maybe the new kid in school struggles with number. You have worked for many business and you see the newly arrived person doesn't even understand the basics. You can mentor them. A mentor is someone other people look up to, they are some sort of teachers and basically someone who wants to give back in order to help others overcome some difficulties, hard moments and love to see them get great results.
